\"\"<\/a>K. Scot Macdonald has published four novels, The Shakespeare Drug,\u00a0<\/em>In Justice Found<\/em>, A Plunge into Evil, <\/em>and Mouse’s Dream, <\/em>two articles in the Writers\u2019 Journal<\/em>, three nonfiction books, including Deadly Dance: The Chippendales Murders, <\/em>several other articles, and contributed to two other books. He has also published a short story, “In Pursuit of Perfection.”<\/p>\n

Scot has worked as a paperboy, landscaper, driver, pollster, census taker, commodity broker and clerk, tutor, editorial assistant, and copy room employee in a law firm. For the past ten years, Scot has been a grant writer in the Department of Neurosurgery and then a senior marketing associate at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

His father was a sportswriter in the 1960s and Scot has an avid interest in sports. He is an 8-handicap golfer.<\/p>\n

On his quest to become a novelist by learning a little about a lot of things, he earned a bachelors degree in psychology and history from the University of British Columbia, a masters degree in journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a masters and doctorate in international relations from the University of Southern California (USC). He is an adjunct professor in international relations at USC. He also has taken screenwriting courses at the University of California, Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

Scot lives in the Los Angeles area with his wife, young daughter and a brindle Scottish terrier, Skye.<\/p>\n
